Ron Alexander is part self-taught archaeologist, a student of Paleolithic American Indian culture. research scientist, avid reader, an advocate for disabled vets, recycled artist and botanist all wrapped into one individual. His lifelong passion has been to research the Colorado river culture of a people that lived from about 10,000-14,000 years ago in the west. Ron has searched the gravel pits as evidenced by his 900 plus artifacts.

As a recycled artist Ron's clipper ships "Schooners" are wonderful. Some are made from oatmeal boxes, clorox bottles and all sorts of other items recycled from the grocery store, such as sails from lowly grocery sacks. He has some state map collages of items produced or manufactured in that state which he finds along the side of the highway outside of his home at Gypsum, KS.
