The imagination of Richard Brown's Lost Acres Ranch is tucked away in the thickets of south central Kansas. In 1996 Richard (deceased) bought 18 acres, dug a pond and this was the beginning of his pioneer settler's environment. He definitely can create anything he sets his mind to doing.

Richard created a 19th century world of covered wagon, stage coach, cement figures and animals. Did he stop there? Of course not! Being driven by a vision, he tore down buildings and recycled old barn wood into a full size barn, log cabin, and blacksmith shop. He commented, "It gets easier the more you do."
